BASIC SCUBA CLASS

The entry level SCUBA Diver course consist of 36 hours of training that is broken up between class room, pool and open water sessions.

You have the option of either joining a group class or arranging for private sessions.
 

 

Group Classes

 At this time I am only teaching private classes.  If you have a group of 4 to 8 people that are able to agree on a set schedule you can arrange for a group classes. 

For groups of 4 to 8, the training will consist of 4 classrooms session, 4 pool sessions, and 5  ocean dives with a optional trip to Catalina Island at an additional cost.

Cost: For groups of 5 or more the cost is $300 per person.  For groups of 4 the cost is $400 per person

Price includes training, books, and certification card, trip to  and the use of SCUBA gear (tank, regulator, BC, wetsuit, weight belt, and hood) for both pool and ocean sessions. Students need to provide mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and gloves (do not purchase until after the first classroom session). The cost of the basic gear that you must provide will average between $150 to $250.

Schedule for the sessions are:

Classroom and pool sessions will either be scheduled for weeknights starting at 6 pm to 9:30 pm or any time during the weekend. The times will be determined during the first classroom session.

The ocean sessions will be scheduled either Saturday or Sunday morning.

The course will take about 2 to 3 weeks.

If you have your own group of 4 or more you can set your own schedule.
