If you only have one day for diving and want to dive one of Southern California’s best dive spots then you must go to Catalina Island. Less than two hour boat ride you will arrive at the dive site “Casino Point Underwater Park”. One of the reason this is a great dive spot is that it has everything that California diving has to offer in one spot. You can see it all with excellent visibility: ledges, drop-offs, underwater cliffs, kelp forests small shipwrecks, and lots of marine life. This dive is excellent spot for beginner divers to get their feet wet and for more experience divers to explore what the park has to offer. Because everything is very convenient (gear rental, air fills and a café) it is possible to make from 3 to 4 dives in one day and still get back to the main land for dinner. To ensure that you use your time wisely and have an enjoyable day we offer a guide service. Our experience guides make this trip at least once a month and know how to get the most out of your day. From start to finish the only thing you will need to worry about is having a great time. We will arrange every aspect of the trip. We can arrange for all transportation, dive gear rental (if needed), and air fills. Our guides are available to lead you on dives to show you what the dive site has to offer and to help ensure you have a safe dive. For the non-divers or those who do not want to spend the whole day in the water, there is the town of Avalon to explore. The town of Avalon is a quaint village with an oceanfront promenade lined with restaurants, boutiques and hotels. From the promenade, visitors can stroll along the colorful Pleasure Pier, which offers numerous opportunities for exploring the island's emerald waters with world-famous glass bottom boat rides, a semi-submersible undersea tour, and more. If you want to venture outside the promenade area you can rent a bicycle or golf cart or take a motor coach tour of the city. This trip is available year round.
