SALT LAKE CITY DIVE TRIP

The Homestead Crater is a 55-foot tall, beehive-shaped limestone rock that nature has hollowed out and filled with 90° to 96° water. They have created a tunnel through the rock wall at ground level and built decks and a soaking area to access the crystal clear mineral water.

Seabase is a warm-spring fed ponds, stocked with colorful, tropical marine fish and designed for a convenient, fun safe and realistic snorkel or SCUBA experience.  The water temperatures in the various ponds remain in the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit year-round.

 The water area is divided onto several connecting bays.  The total of the bays is 150 feet wide, 200 yards long at the widest/longest, but very irregular in shape. The depth is 24 feet deep at the deepest; adjusted for altitude in salt water that is 33 feet.  The deep hole (The Abyss), will be 60 feet deep.
